Construction of a new cafeteria at the "G. Fantini" Primary School in Godo

Plan for the extension of full-time (Mission 4 – Component 1 - Investment 1.2)

Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan provides for the extension of school time, in order to increase the educational offer of schools and make them open and available to the territory beyond school hours. 

The measure envisages the construction or renovation of canteen spaces for at least 1 000 structures to allow for the extension of school time. Extended schooling hours are expected to have a positive impact on the fight against early school leaving.

The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 1 billion.

As part of this investment, the project consists in the expansion of the elementary school with a space intended for canteen activities of a size of about 200 square meters. 

The new structure will be built typologically in autonomy from the current building body, on an area already owned by the municipality located within the parcel of land on which the school is located and with an appropriate urban destination with respect to the work that will be carried out.

The NRRP funds allocated to this project amount to EUR 440,000
