Juvenes Translatores schools 2023-2024

Congratulations to randomly selected schools!

The schools that were randomly selected for this year’s Juvenes Translatores contest are now published Have a look if your school has been selected

Selected schools will shortly receive an e-mail with details about registering participants and instructions to help prepare for the translation contest scheduled for 23 November 2023.

If your school was selected in the random electronic draw, then participants (see section 3.1 of Contest Rules) and their chosen language pairs (see point 3.4 of Contest Rules) must be registered on the contest platform by 12 PM (Central European Time) on 16 November 2022 at the latest.

Background

The aim of this annual translation contest is to promote, recognise, and reward language learning and to inspire young linguists. The ability to speak foreign languages is a major asset for young people entering the job market. In an increasingly connected and global economy, employers actively seek multilingual candidates capable of adapting to and thriving in an international context.
