Consultation on Bulgaria's electricity market reform plan

Consultation Bulgaria electricity market reform plan

The European Commission has opened a consultation on proposed electricity market reforms in Bulgaria.

Aimed at gauging opinion from public and private stakeholders, the consultation will feed into the Commission’s assessment of the planned reforms.

Under the Electricity Market Regulation 2019/943, Member States are required to outline reforms to their electricity market if and when they identify likely supply shortages.

Responses to this consultation on the Bulgarian plan should be submitted by 11 February 2021.
