This was the main advice given to the 300 potential candidates who attended the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 2 (SC2) info day on 4 July 2019. 85 projects are expected to be funded in the 2020 calls. €521 million is available for the last year of SC2 calls: Sustainable food security: €173 million Blue growth: €52 million Rural Renaissance: €88 million Food and Natural Resources: €208,7 million The calls will open on 15 October and the first deadline is set for 22 January 2020.
