The Digital Business Solutions Unit (COMP.I.3) helps transform DG Competition into a data-driven
organisation equipped with state-of-the-art digital solutions to support EU competition policy and
enforcement needs.
Our team delivers digital solutions for case management, collaboration, information exchanges, data and artificial intelligence, both for Commission staff and external stakeholders. We work in close collaboration with all units in DG Competition, many Directorates-General in the European Commission, other European Institutions, Member States and organisations.

We propose
We propose a stimulating job as IT Portfolio Manager to lead a portfolio of teams of creative and prolific project managers and engineers in charge of designing, developing and maintaining a number of digital solutions for interaction and communication with external stakeholders of DG Competition (be it Member States incl. national competition authorities as well as interested citizens; be it companies and their law firms) on matters relevant to competition policy and enforcement cases.
In this role, the candidate will work cross-functionally to guide the development of digital solutions from conception to delivery by connecting the technical and business worlds, breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development and its integration within DG COMP’s IT landscape.
The candidate will be working on new technologies, platforms and end-user facing digital solutions that include secure information exchange, using Commission corporate reusable components and services and which are highly integrated with adaptive case management and with data and artificial intelligence solutions for competition enforcement.
Also, the candidate will be expected to contribute to the overall digital strategy of DG COMP, to
the IT governance of the Commission, to the IT security risk evaluation, to the implementation of
relevant IT security measures and to contract management and budget planning.
