During the virtual visit, master's students will learn about:
- translation tools and methods used in DG Translation
- the required skills for translators
- the various translation profiles
- career and traineeship opportunities at the European Commission.
Professional translators working for the Commission will share their experience and answer students' questions in interactive virtual rooms.
The programme will include:
- a presentation on DG Translation's work and career opportunities, given in English
- breakout rooms for each of the 24 official EU languages where students can interact with translators and ask questions.
