Erasmus Programme for Public Administration

The Erasmus Public Administration programme was launched in 2008 at the initiative of the European Parliament. Its aim is to help new national civil servants dealing with EU affairs, and through them their administrations, to learn more about the EU decision-making processes and the way the institutions function. It also serves a useful networking purpose.

This 10 days traineeship is composed of conferences, training seminars, visits to the institutions in Brussels, as well as 2,5 days of "job shadowing" in an institution of the participant's choice.

Two sessions per year are organised (Spring and Autumn) for a maximum of 45 participants per session. EuSA decides on the final list of participants based on proposals from the Member States Permanent Representations to the EU.

Next session
