Training the Trainers of Present and Future Language Professionals

The "Train the Trainers" workshop will focus on translator training and will cover five main aspects: translation, translation technology, personal and interpersonal skills, service provision and project management. It will question the broader implications of AI and machine translation, as the nature of translation jobs (and projects) continues to evolve. Sessions will focus on a variety of themes such as terminology, phraseology, metalanguage, technical writing, quality assurance, tools and techniques, revision, critical thinking,  CAT tools, NMT, Generative AI, data literacy, and many others.
