Description

The digital revolution is changing the world we live in. However today’s online barriers mean citizens don’t have access to certain goods and services, internet companies and start-ups are limited in what they can offer, and businesses and governments cannot take advantage of the digital tools available.

There is an urgent need to make the EU’s single market fit for the digital era. This means removing regulatory walls and merging the existing 28 national markets into one robust market place. This move is vital as it could add €415 billion to the EU’s economy annually, while creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs.
