UAB 'Agrokoncerno biometanas' expansion of biomethane gas production capacity

The objective of the project is to build a new biomethane production plant, thereby increasing biomethane production capacity.  Biomethane is a clean, sustainable alternative to natural gas that generates added value for local communities in Lithuania and supports the circular economy. 

Such projects demonstrate that agriculture can provide not only food but also energy, highlighting the significant potential of the agricultural sector.

A total of EUR 2,368,400 has been allocated from the Recovery and Resilience Facility. 

The measure must be completed by 31 December 2025.
