Copyright: Ministry of Culture Digital Strategy and Platforms of Culture Heritage (Mission 1, Component 3, Investment 1.1)Italy's Recover and Resilience Plan includes actions to digitise the Italian cultural heritage, as to improve access to cultural resources and digital services.The intervention will create a new national digital infrastructure to collect, integrate and retain digital resources, making them available for public use through dedicated platforms.Interventions on “physical” heritage will be accompanied by the digitisation of museums, archives, libraries and cultural sites, to enable citizens to explore new forms of benefitting from the cultural heritage.The investment is financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan with EUR 500 million.The "Digital Transformation" worksite, organized by the School of Cultural Heritage and Activities Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry's Institute for the Digitalisation of Cultural Heritage - Digital Library, is part of this investment.The project aimes to identify skills, objectives and tools necessary for territories in order to manage the process of digital transformation in the cultural field, as well as to bring out skills needs, training actions and possible territorial alliances needed to support the processes underlying the digital transformation.Operational objectives include the broader imperative of building a shared vision of the development processes needed to support the relationship between digital and cultural heritage even after the end of the PNRR.Additional links:https://dicolab.it/2023/09/28/in-ascolto-dei-territori/ ReferenceM1C3Project locations Italy EU contribution€500 000 000 Project websitehttps://dicolab.it/
