Copyright: European Commission The Recovery and Resilience Facility would support with EUR 72 million the construction of a TERVIKUM, a new, modern county health centre in the city of Viljandi, directly serving Viljandi County with 45,411 residents but indirectly the surrounding counties as well. The new hospital would be networked with the primary health care centre ensuring patient-oriented cooperation between providers of primary care, specialist care and social services. The facilities for ambulatory care, stationary care and day care and other public services will be built on the same infrastructure as the primary health care centre. The construction is underway, and Viljandi TERVIKUM would be in operation by the end of December 2025.More information and press releases can be found at the following links:Viljandi new hospital webpageMore information can be found on social media at the following links:Foundation Viljandi hospital - FacebookRiigi Kinnisvara - Facebook Copyright: European Commission Copyright: European Commission Copyright: European Commission Reference6.2 in the Estonian Recovery and Resilience PlanProject locations Estonia EU contribution€72 000 000 Project websitehttps://newviljandihospital.ee/en
