The investment aims to modernise the emergency departments and resuscitation (intensive care) units of the Republican Vilnius University Hospital (RVUH) to ensure readiness to provide high-quality and safe services in emergency situations. 

Updated requirements for the operation of emergency, resuscitation and intensive care units have been implemented, and these units have been modernised accordingly.

The RVUH project received EUR 9,000,814.82 from the Recovery and Resilience Facility and was completed in July 2025.
