Implementation of the new construction law and zoning law into practice

The new Construction Act entered into force and brought the decentralised structure of the building authorities and their operating conditions under the responsibility of the state.

This reform aims to speed up of building procedures and to make authorisation procedures more efficient.

Training will be provided to unable relevant actors to understand the new processes, to be able to use the new information systems and work efficiently in the new organisational setting.

The existing data are migrated to a new platform, while the functioning of the existing individual information systems is ensured until the central information system (‘AIS’) is built.

Necessary IT equipment for the functioning of the new structure of building authorities is to be provided.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of around EUR 38 milllion.
