Philipp Koehn

Philipp Koehn received his PhD from the University of Southern California and was a postdoctoral research associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is the Chair for Machine Translation and Professor in Informatics at the University of Edinburgh and Professor for Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. Koehn co-ordinated several EU projects, such as EuroMatrix, EuroMatrixPlus, and CASMACAT. He authored over 100 scientific publications and the textbook "Statistical Machine Translation".

Philipp Koehn
