Biografi

Born in Gemona del Friuli on 8.1.1958. Married to Nicoletta Morandini, with three children. Graduated in Business Economics at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 1980. Since 1980, he has worked in product marketing for the Fantoni Group, of which he is now Managing Director. He is a board member for Novolegno spa, and has also been a board member for Assufficio – Milano since 1992 (the association of Italian office furniture producers), and Vice-President since 2002.

He was President of EMB in Giessen, the European MDF panel producers' association in 1997 – 1998.
He has been the Vice President and co-founder of EPF in Brussels, the European association of particle board and MDF panel producers, ever since its creation on 1st January 1999, from the merger of EMB and FESYP. Since 2014 he has been leading the association as Chairman.
Since 1996 he has been coordinating the activities of the Fantoni Research Centre, where major cultural, professional and scientific figures have participated and contributed over the years.
From February 2000 to 2008 and from 2011 to 2014 he was councillor of the Bank of Italy for the Udine and Trieste Branch.

Since June 2004 he has led the particleboard group for Assopannelli, the Italian national association of panel and semi-finished wood product manufacturers, of which he has been President from 2010 to June 2016.
On 8 June 2009 the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, presented him with the “National Award for Innovation” for the development of the Climacustic project, a radiant and sound-absorbent system unlike any other in the world.
From November 2015 he is Vice-President of Fantoni spa and President of Fantoni Blu.
