Cinzia Alcidi is Director of Research at CEPS (Centre for European Policy Studies), the Brussels-based think tank. Her research interests include international macroeconomics, economic policy, EU governance and integration, as well as social policies. She has long professional experience in providing evidence-based policy analysis to national governments and EU institutions. She is also the author of numerous studies and articles in scientific journals. Prior to joining CEPS in 2008, she worked at the International Labour Office in Geneva and taught International Economics at the University of Perugia (Italy). Cinzia Alcidi holds a Ph.D. degree in International Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva (Switzerland).
