25th Anniversary of the Charter of Fundamental Rights

This December will mark the 25th anniversary of the proclamation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. For this occasion, a conference will mark this important anniversary, entitled “25 Years of Rights: Reflecting on the Impact of the Charter”, organised jointly by the European Commission, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights and the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. 

The conference will bring together approximately 200 representatives of the main stakeholder groups that contribute to the application of the Charter across the EU. It will take place from 10 to 11 December 2025 in Brussels and online via streaming.
