The 30th edition of the "Salvador de Madariaga" Prize for European Journalism is organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Spain, together with the Spanish Association of European Journalists. Actions and events in France on the European Union
The Representation of the European Commission in France is launching a call for proposals to identify and support projects that accompany and amplify institutional communication on the European Union in France. The deadline for submission of applications is 25 May 2022.
The call for proposals “Actions and events in France on the European Union” aims to identify and support information and communication activities on the EU in France, with the aim of bringing the European Union closer to its citizens and raising public awareness of the role and activities of the EU institutions in the policy areas covered by the European Commission’s political priorities. This call for proposals also aims to raise public awareness, collect opinions and feedback and analyse these contributions to feed the decision-making process upstream.
The Representation of the European Commission ensures that the Communication on the EU in France covers the whole territory: project promoters are thus encouraged to offer optimal geographical coverage, targeting in particular rural, peri-urban and overseas areas.
Projects should target as many people as possible, with a particular focus on young people - 2022 marking the European Year of Youth - as well as those who are least aware of European issues, in a way appropriate to their socio-professional and/or geographical situation.
