The theme of this year's EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is 'lead the clean energy transition'.

In Brussels the event will be marked by a Policy Conference, on 5-7 June including (on the first day) the ceremony of the annual EU Sustainable Energy Awards, and a chance to share ideas and good practice in the Networking Village on 6-7 June.

In addition, Energy Days will be organised all over Europe throughout the months of May and June, giving citizens and businesses the opportunity to discover the latest developments in sustainable energy.

Commissioner for Climate Action & Energy Miguel Arias Cañete will be opening the event.
